KEEP LEARNING ALIVE
Please check Google classroom for the last month of school. Email me if you need help.
Week 8 May 11-15
Finish your ABC's if you need to. If that is done, spend a half hour on CoderZ or Everfi Vault if you were supposed to be in term 4 apps or did not finish it any other term.
Continuing with China, complete the web quest then move onto the definitions, vocabulary with clues. You will be using them for a crossword puzzle next week. Pay attention to the formatting it will make it easier later.
Cutting edge presentation for your classmates time, show them your item, add a video if its easier to show it working. Tell what it does and why it's cool or important. Your audience is other kids. It's ok to use the animations & bright colors , as long as it is still easy to read.
You can continue the 8th grade dance activity on Scratch, I can see there are remixes that haven't been shared. If you are done you can add more to the scratches or select either to work on Endeavor on Everfi or continue with CoderZ.
WEEK 7 May 4-8
Email me your American Revolution ABC's, then join the CoderZ if you haven't yet.
We are going on a trip to China, this is a web quest. It is on the share as a word doc & here as a Google doc.
Keep on working on your cutting edge tech timeline research if needed, email it when you are done. Begin the Presentation for your classmates.
We can still have the 8th grade dance, virtually on Scratch. I've started the activity. Remix my project or classmate's, add a sprite of yourself in, make it dance then repost. Hopefully, we can get all of us dancing!
Grade 5 keep on working on your American Revolution ABC's. This could be a wrap-up week for some. Try to complete one citation using EasyBib. It doesn't have to be perfect, see if you can manage it on your own. Make your activity look good, add word art to the title & delete the directions? If you finish there are some fun links at the bottom. Email it to me, too.
You have 3 choices to spend a half-hour on CoderZ, SumDog or Everfi Vault. I added Vault for the kids who never had APP's. A half hour a week is the expectation, don't forget I can see if you've logged into these.
Keep on working on your cutting edge tech timeline research. You might wrap it up this week, the expectation would be the last 4 dates. Make it look good. Use colors that make it easy to read.
Keep on working on CoderZ or spend a half-hour on Everfi Endeavor. I added this to your account if you never got to Apps class, this might be interesting to you. A half-hour a week is the expectation, don't forget I can see if you've logged into both of these.
Continue either the ABC's activity or start the CoderZ activity. The expectation is a half-hour a week. I'm assuming if I don't see you on CoderZ you are doing the ABC's.
Continue with CoderZ this week.
Spend 30 minutes.
Work on your timeline research. Let me your choice of program or website, so I can link tutorials. You should have about 6 dates complete & 2 sources when done.
Continue with CoderZ this week.
Spend 30 minutes.
Continue either the ABC's activity or start the CoderZ activity. The expectation is a half-hour a week, please let me know via Google Classroom what you want to tackle. I asked for this last week!
I'd still like to see your PowerPoints on your elements. Please check them over & email them to me as an attachment, if you want to share. Start CoderZ this week. Spend 30 minutes.
Work on your timeline research, I asked you to email me your choice of program or website last week. I can link tutorials if I know where your working. You should have 3 dates complete & at least 1 source when you are done this week.
Start CoderZ this week. Spend 30 minutes. Your Excel charts & graphs can still be sent. Please email them or your Scratch Vocab screenshot to me, if you didn't last week.
You need to decide if you want to complete the ABC's activity over the next few weeks or start the CoderZ activity. It's ok to go check out if you can get into the ABC's easily or try a section on Coder first. The expectation is a half-hour a week, let me know via Google Classroom what you want to tackle.
I'd love your PowerPoints on your elements. We spent so much time on them, I'd love to see them. Please check them over & email them to me as an attachment.
